Most smokers started smoking before age 18, and almost quarter of them begin using tobacco before age 10. Estimated of 1.3 million people smoke worldwide and 84% lived in developing countries. Smoking had been associated with increased mortality rates which was known to be responsible for 90% of all lung cancer cases, 75% of chronic bronchitis and emphysema and 25% of ischemic heart disease globally [1]. However, “the tobacco industry still does not publicly accept that smoking causes lung cancer” [2].
